What Miss paton has taught me about my netbook.

I have learnt how to post work up onto my blog. I have learnt about some really good websites, like fotor.com and popplet.com.I have also learn how to make a flipping e book. I have learnt how to make a collage from fotor.com. It is a website where you can make different looking collages. You can decorate them, edit them and change the border.  I made one collage about  the walk I did around the Tamaki River and I also did one collage on the c3 church party.

What has a friend taught me about my netbook this year.

My friends have taught me a lot of new things that makes it easier for me to use my netbook.Patrick and Oh s’mar showed me how to download firefox and java.

I learnt how to put my Maths Whizz work up on my blogs.

I learnt how to save my blogs post from my friends John, Patrick and Oh s’mar

What has somebody else taught me about my netbook.

My brother taught me how download firefox on my netbook and use it as my default browser.

My mum showed me a maths website, where you can play maths pacman games. There are lots of games to play. the website is coolmathsgames.com, it has some really good  educational maths game.

Mrs Eeles showed us a website called Kiwi Kids News,where you can learn about what’s happening in the latest news around the world. When its current events time we pick a article we’re interested in and reflect about what we have read. There is also lots of different quizzes on the website. Miss Eeles showed me kiwi kids news websites it about news.

This is my Tamaki River walk By San Tat

On Tuesday November 5th we went to the Panmure Basin and did the Pakuranga Rotary walk. I very  liked the Tamaki River walk with my class. I liked boats at the Tamaki River because it was very big. When I went to the Panmure Basin I saw ducks and birds. When we finished walking at the Panmure Basin we had our lunch. When I finished eating  I played soccer with room 7. After we played soccer, we went over the Pakuranga Bridge. When we went to the Pakuranga Bridge we looked under the Pakuranga Bridge. I took pictures under the Pakuranga Bridge. After we looked under the bridge. We had to walk along the Tamaki River. When we walked along the Tamaki River I was very tired. When we finished walking I was very happy. We had to eat our lunch. When I finished eating my lunch I could play at the playground. I liked playing at the playground. When the bus came and we had to get our bags and get on the bus.

When I came back to school I was very happy because it was a very long walked. When we came back to the hall we had an a iceblock. My one was orange it tasted like orange fruit. It was a very yummy orange ice block.                 

This is my Drama Work B San Tat

We have drama in Room 11 My. In Drama today we had to become  things that had to  do all on the Tamaki River. Miss Eeles had given each group 3 pictures each and then we had to become all the pictures for five seconds. Miss Eeles had counted down for us to get ready to become our freeze frame.

I was the bus driver, Ohs Mar was the Bus, Jason was the people in Room 5, Halatoa was that people in Room 5 too, John was the Bus door and Cyprus was the bus door too. Us one was very good but Miss Eeles said we need to giggling because we was giggling and luffing. When we need to become and make a noisy We one was same again but we make a noisy. We need to stops giggling again because Halatoa was make we laughed. I like this part Cyprus said are we there jet and I said no then the people in Room 7 and Room 5 was laughed.

This is my current event week 6 quiz on kiwikidsnews.co.nz. I got 40% because I was rushing. It was kind of like a race to see who had gotten the fastest time and the highest amount of percent.

 This is my graph that John helped me with. It is on room 5's favourite sport. The most popular sport is soccer because it got 17 votes because some people in my class go to an after school soccer program. The least favourite group of sport is rugby, Cricket and AFL because not that much people like to play that sport. The same sports that weren't the most popular are the same groups were chose as the same number of people who got the same number of  votes and baseball was in the middle.

I did drama in room 11 with my friends. I were like my drama because we ave to make the best freeze frame and a noise for it. I make the noise was like beat box and my friends make the noise was beat box too.

I very like my finds because they did a very good drama with the noise. Miss Eeles said to my group we very good with the noises. Cyprus was the funny in our group he was funny when he did the beat box noise. I very like my drama with my group it was very good drama.

When Maru’s walk up she get ready for breakfast and she wait for her mum to wak up. She wait for 35 minutes and she go to her mum bed and she saw her mum was dead on the bed. When Maru’s saw his mum dead on the bed and then she go outside of his house and crying. She have no mum and dad because his mum and dad has dead. She saw one family and she go to the family to said my mum and dad has dead. There was a little boy is San Tat he saw Maru’s walking with no mum and dad. San Tat went to Maru’s and said do you have mum or dad because I saw you walking with no one. Maru’s said I have no family because my mum and dad dead. San Tat said you can come and live with my family. Maru’s live with a very good family.

Equipment List:

Copy of artists painting

1 x 30 cm ruler

1 HB pencil

1 Eraser

2 paint brush-1 thin paint brush and 1 thick paint brush

Acrylic paint-Three colors

A2 poster size piece of paper

instruction

1. Plot 5 cm dots across(horizontally) the paper by using a ruler.

2. Join the dots together using a ruler.

3. Plot 5 cm dots down(vertically) the paper by using a ruler.

4. Join the dots together by using a ruler

5. Number the squares and co-ordinate.

6. Complete the triangle on the bottom left hand corner  

Coordinates: (7,1) then go down by using the ruler.

7. Complete the smaller triangle in left hand corner.

Coordinates: (3,1) (4,1) then then that one is finished.

8. Complete the long rectangle sort of in the middle.

Coordinates: (3,6)

9. Go to the bottom left corner of the paper and we are going to do the the medium size triangle.

Coordinates: (7,2)

10. Complete the smaller triangle on the top left hand corner.

Coordinates (2,4)

11. Choose what colour you want for your painting.

12. Once you chosen the colour for your painting put on your paint shirt and now you can start painting whatever shape you want in the painting.

13. Once you have completed painting the shape that you wanted to paint.

14. Now you can blend the colours by making the next shape of the paint either lighter or darker.

15. Once you have done the colour you have chosen either lighter or darker you are going to do all the rest of the shapes and with the fine line paint it white or red or any colour you want.

16. Now you have finished painting the whole thing then you wait it for it to dry.

17. Now it is finished drying you can hairspray it and you can show your impressive work that you have done.

My virtual trip to the Landforms By San Tat

This is me on a mountain landform. I fly like the superman up on the mountain. I like flying like superman becauses I saw a big and tall mountain.

The mountain was next to a really hot mountain, because of this I began to feel hot next to the mountain and then I jumped into a lake to cool down.

This is my landform on plateau where I jumped into the water.

I like to jump into the water because it fun and cool. The water was warm like at the swimming pool. When I jumped into the water and then I hit my head on the rock bued.

This is my waterfall landform, I did backflip when I went down waterfall. When I did backflip the wind made me feel cold. The water was very, very scary. I like to backflip at waterfall it was really cool.

I like this picture because it cool and scary. When I did backflip at waterfall and the water was warm lie the swimming pool.

When I did a backflip my friends Oh S’mar and Patrick did a backflip after me. When Ohsm Mar and patrick did a backflip and there shoes came off and it was really funny!

1. Are you pleased with your painting? why / why not?

yes because I took a long time to finish my art and when I painting inside the grid.  

2. What did you find easy when you created your painting?

I found it easy when I was painting the art shape.

3. What part did you find tricky when you were creating your painting? -think about painting, ruling up the grid, measuring, using the co-ordinates, etc.

I found it tricky when I was painting within  my shapes.

4. Who / What helped you when you were painting?

Miss Paton helped me when I was painting and grid.

5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: colours, painting, ruling up, etc.

I would choose a different colour next time. I would choose orange

6. What frustrated you when you created your painting?

I found it frustrating when I was drew the grid and painted inside the grid.

My Volcano report

A volcano can look like a mountain and it can blow up. Some volcanoes are active while others are just asleep. Volcanoes are awesome because they blow up!

`A volcano that has not erupted is known as extinct ( Extinct means it has died) A volcano that has blown up is known as an active volcano. A volcano is a hole in the earth's crust where magma comes out.Volcanoes can also form new rocks and make new landforms

Volcanoes erupt (blow up) when the ground moves and cracks. THe magma explodes coming from inside the earth and out the volcano. People can die and get hurt from volcanoes that blow up. The Lava can cover people and turn into rock, this kills them.

There are 53 volcanoes in New Zealand. Taranaki volcano is the youngest volcano and the biggest volcano in New Zealand. Taranaki blew up in 1655 and they think it will blow up again. Another volcano in New Zealand is Tongariro it is an active volcano so it is dangerous.

Overall I’ve learned a lot about volcanoes and how they blow up and that lava can kill people. I have also learned about dangerous volcanoes in New Zealand and the volcanoes that have died. I really liked learning about volcanoes and writing about them.

My holidays by San Tat

My time on holiday

On Saturday I played a game of rugby. It was wonderful because we won and we played well as a team. I liked playing rugby because it is beautiful and is  a lovely game. After I finished my game of rugby, I went to Ohs’mar’s  house to play Xbox. We played xbox kinect. Afterwards Ohs’mar came over to my house to play more rugby .  

On Sunday I went to a temple, I ate some rice and fruit and drunk some juice. After we eat food we played rugby and soccer. Afterwards we went inside and got some food to take home.

On Monday I went to the shops and I bought some new shoes. My mum brought black shoes and she liked her shoes but I thought they were okay. After we went to rebel sports to buy new rugby boots,  I got one pair of rugby boots and my brother got a pair of rugby boots too. My boots are yellow and my brother got blue ones, but his boots are nicer than mine!

In the holidays I watched a Thailand movie called

‘Power kids’ it was a cool movie. I liked the  part when the kids were fighting with the big strong man and the the kids won.

After I watched ‘Power kids’ I went to Cyprus’ house to wait for our rugby coach  to come and pick us up for our game. Once we arrived at our game we got ready to play. Then we started playing. The team we were versing got 20 points and we only scored 17 points. We lost our rugby game but it was a cool rugby game so I didn’t mind losing.

After we finished our game of rugby we watched the big people play  rugby, they ran fast. After we watched the big people play  rugby we headed back to the car to go back at home.
