My worst mistake By San Tat

My worst mistake

I have made mistakes some times. When I was playing soccer in my backyard I kick a soccer ball at the window, I was trying to get a goal but I kick it at the window so hard that the window broke.

So when the window broke my mum said I can’t play soccer at my backyard for a long time.So when I can play soccer in the backyard? My mum said don’t kick it at the windows again then I said yes mum.

So that was the first mistake I have done and That was the last mistake I’ve ever done after that I never done a mistake again. When I was play soccer after school at my backyard I was thinking i'm going to broke the window again?

So now I don’t play soccer in my backyard again. If I want to pay soccer I will go and play at the down crick. I only play soccer in my backyard sometime and I always play at the down crick.

This is San Tat and my map on where we are from. San Tat is from Burma and I am from Niue. The distance between Burma and Auckland is 10,851. The distance between Niue and Auckland is 2,249 km. The difference is 8,602 km.

New Year

Burmese New Year

My family celebrates Burmese New Year. We celebrate it in New Zealand when it is New Year in Burma. I like Burmese New Year because it’s fun and there are lots of my family and friends that come over.

For Burmese New Year we eat chicken and rice.  We always eat chicken and rice, and I like the chicken because we get special sauce on it. I like the rice because it has tomatoes, beans and noodles. My family and I always do this for Burmese New Year. After we eat we have a drink we have coca cola, sprite and fanta. We have at least 10 cans of coca cola, sprite, and fanta because there are lots and lots of people.

Then we go to play outside because the adults are praying so we go and play outside. I was playing on the playground when we have a break. I like the playground because it has a long slide.

When the people finish praying we can go inside and eat again. I usually eat fruit because I am full. I didn’t want to eat rice again so I ate fruit. I eat a lot because it is the last thing you get to eat when the day is over. If there are drinks left, you can take it, so I take one. Then we go home. We do this every year in New Zealand.

There was a girl who lived in a house where lot of kids played and make lots of noises. One day she looked over her fence and she saw a kid’s paradise. They were playing and she wanted to play with them. She feels sad because she had no one to play with. She heard lots of kids playing and laughing. She can smell a BBQ at the back of her house.

When she went to the back of her house it was her dad cooking a BBQ for her.

“Hahahahaha” she was laughing in happiness.

As a surprise her dad had asked all the kids from over the fence to come and join in the BBQ.  They ate chicken and lamb and sausages. They all really enjoyed the foods.   

San Tat - Telling where

The beach is nice and hot it never gets cold only in the winter. The beach is the best because you can eat at the beach because it not like the swimming pool. When I go to the beach with my family we always buy food then we go to the beach.  

San Tat - I remember

I remember as if it was yesterday when I was in Burma and my mum told the family that we were moving to another country, I was happy to move, but the problem was that I loved my life here better than anywhere else. I enjoyed Burma because I spent a lot of my free time playing with my friends and cousins and family members, we always go into the forest and get some delicious fruit such as mangoes, apples, bananas and grapes. I always liked going to the lake to fish, but we didn’t use normal rods we had to use a stick, string and a hook with little fish on it and we had fun. When my mum told me to pack up, she told me good things about the place we were moving to, so I packed up my things and went. I met great friends and learnt how to speak English like all the others so I don’t get left out.

Do you know how to play Soccer? I am going to tell you about my favourite sport.

Some of the positrons are goalkeeper, striker, midfielder and defender.

To play goalkeeper you have to try to catch the ball when people try to kick in the goal. Goalkeepers can use their hands but not strikers, midfielders or defenders. Goalkeeper have to be in front of the goal not inside the goal. If you are inside instead of outside the goal then people can kick in the goal easily.

Some of the rules are you can’t kick people in the leg.  If you do then you will have a red or yellow card. You have to use your legs and feet, not your hand, if you do then it will be handball. Soccer is a sport for your legs. Soccer is all about teamwork.

Neymar is my favorite Soccer player because he is one of the best Soccer players. Neymar is really good at skills and tricks. Neymar play for a club called FC Barcelona and for his country, Brazil. Neymar played in the Fifa 2014 world cup for Brazil and they came 4th.

I hope you have learnt about the sport of Soccer. It’s my favourite sport.

My Holiday Reading Writing

Holiday Reading

During the holidays the year seven and eight  had to read three or more books during the holiday. We need to read at home while we were not at school. We need to read during the holidays to improve our reading.    

In the holiday I read the book the Boy vs Beast. The book was set in China a boy that was sent to destroy the Beast. That activity I did for this book was the fabulous food.  

I did read three books but I didn't have time to do all the activities during the holidays. The three books I read were Goosebumps, Most Wanted Spirit Animals, and Boy vs Beast.

I liked this activity because it really fun and easy to make.  Next holidays I will do better at reading my books and finish all the activities.

We went to the Panmure Library & Met Mama Piri, Tau, from the Memorial & Ruth the Library The Library First we: sat down and Tengan welcome us from our school. Next we: We were listening to the story of the octopus and the rat. Finally we: Mama Piri told us a story of about a girl from Tahiti that made a colorful skirt and how it represents her culture. My favourite part was coloring the octopus.
